I have owned several Doxy Originals over the years (which are amazing), but I have had issues with the ABS plastic case cracking. So when it was time to replace the current one, I splurged for the DOXY Die Cast, and I so wish I had done it sooner.The Doxy website says 56% more intensity, which is definitely evident. Even if you don't think you need the extra power, it's nice to get a deeper sensation with less noise (it is insanely quiet). It feels solid in your hand.I see posts about people trying to rationalize the cost of premium personal items. These are things you will own for years and will give you a lot of value.

Have the "original" magic wand but wanted something with a body safe head, considering the nature of intended use of these devices.Quiet, especially compared to the MW.Stronger and less surface feel to the vibrations too.A bit pricey though it does feel the part of a luxury item.Impressions so far are good.

This may be the best on the market. It is quite powerful, something you notice more if you add an attachment. It is the only metal cased vibrator I have ever seen and is fairly heavy. That probably contributes to getting a more powerful vibration since the weight will stabilize the vibrator allowing more energy to go to the head of the unit as opposed to just making the total unit shake in your hand as would happen with a lighter unit. The controls are on-off, faster and slower buttons. They are nicely recessed and light up. There is a wide spread of vibration speed and if the on-off button is held down for a few seconds the vibrator shifts to a ramped pulsing mode. The frequency of the pulse is then controlled by pressing the fast and slow buttons. For some reason this is not clearly mentioned in the listing and I did not get any instructions about it but found out from other reviews. I note some of the complaints about the vibrator breaking and don't see how anything this solid could easily break unless it is used in some very odd fashion. Time will tell.

I've owned and worn out or broken three hitachi's now. So, I decided to pull the trigger and get this. So far my partners have been very happy with it and each of them have indicated that they like this a LOT more. The ability to have several more intensity adjustments is really nice. I think it's a little more powerful but experientially the vibrations seem to be significantly more intense. If used with light force the variety is really nice but if press down upon hard it gets very pleasantly thumpy. One of the big wins with this product is the silicone head. The tpe head of the Hitachi is just gross because you can't ever actually sterilize it. As with all silicone toys don't use anything but a water-based lubricant and you should be good to go with this one. I was pretty skeptical about the much higher price of this but all three of my partners are awfully glad I got it. Better put down a towel. You've been warned.

Very powerful and she wishes she had this years ago. I may be put out to pasture.Update. Silicon head makes rattly sounds sometimes. She now says this must be what cocaine feels like. Apparently a twenty minute big O!!Soft cover on head has become loose and make rattling sound. Wish we could buy a new soft cover still.STILL her favorite fun toy. Mind bending orgasms for a woman who it sometimes took an hour to get off once.
