This particular design has a few flaws: the grip is firm but very thin, not weighted at either end, and far too long at 9", but well wrapped. The balance point is jus about 1" above the start of the falls. The falls are very firm, round cording, not braided, just short of 19" long. This delivers a very biting sting. There is nothing soft about this flogger. It is meant to hurt, and it does.

Not as hefty as I would have liked, but for the price its quite nice. The handle is well made, the straps are thin and sting well enough. It now has a place of honor on my wall of toys, near the top. I would recommend this for both beginners and veterans of the life style.
