My wife isn't into gadgets of any kind, but I ordered this with hope in my heart.FIRST MISTAKE - To turn this device off, hold down the middle button. I almost got caught having a sneak peek because this took me a couple of minutes to figure out.FAILURE - I sprang this on her without warning and tried to put it in the right spot in the dark. Between the surprise interruption and the modulating "sci-fi hum" (her words) of the device, and also my poor aim, things went from bad to worse and we ended the night in unsatisfied, awkward silence. I really did try though; I had it preset to the vibration mode and intensity that I thought would be best, but I was fooling myself that I had any idea.REINTRODUCTION - The next morning I cleaned it and put it back in the box to present it in the shiny package as God intended. She read the gold lettered highlights and became interested, enough to say we should give it another try someday.SUCCESS - Someday didn't take long! I guess she was curious the next morning and initiated a bit of fun, asking if I wanted to try my "gadget" again. This time, I turned it on and handed it over so she could drive. I played a supporting role and let her work the magic. It was a resounding success and completely made up for the previous awkward evening.MORE SUCCESS - It was worth the price tag for one good memory. She just isn't into devices, especially when it comes to intimacy. I figured she enjoyed it once but just to humor me. But last night she said "can you get your purple toy?" I couldn't believe it! MONEY. WELL. SPENT. OMG. AMEN!USER FRIENDLY - It's worth noting she is TERRIBLE with technology. She grew up on a farm and would probably be happier if the power went out permanently. However, in the dark, without fumbling, she figured out how to operate this device to her liking. It took no time.STORAGE - Cleaning it up is easy with soap and water since the entire device is waterproof. And it comes with a velvety black bag to keep it discreetly stowed in a drawer. The bag also helps with discreet charging—by dropping the device into the bag head first and leaving the charging port toward the bag opening, I can plug it in and leave it sitting on my dark dresser without drawing unwanted attention. If the charging cable were black, this magic little device would be nearly invisible sitting on my dresser.FINAL THOUGHTS - It's worth the money. Don't be an idiot guy like me by trying to insert yourself into the experience; let her look it over and warm up to it, and let her try it on her terms with or without you. It's for her, remember? Your job is to clean it and keep it charged up so it's ready whenever she is. It's small enough that I've been able to keep it under my pillow in case of an "emergency".I will update this review (again) if anything changes.
